| I'm coming back from the Xanga dead...but don't get too excited, I just need a study break
Things are going well here in GR, Katie and I are learning to run our own household :) our apartment is really nice...the only downside is the CHOIR of smoke alarms. They really, really want to make us aware if we are even CLOSE to setting our place on fire. So let's say we're cooking something in the oven, we open the oven to see if it's done...BOOM 5 smoke alarms echoing eachother in a chorus of hideous beeping noises. So....I guess that means no cookies at 3 in the morning.
(I just heard it happen to someone else downstairs so I had to...oh wait...there they go again...hahahahaha)
You know if you think about it, it really has desensitized me to the sound of smoke alarms..so really, one of these days something really will be on fire..and no one is going to care...they should've thought that one through a little bit more.
Fact: More smoke alarms does not equal more fire safety!

| So, apparently, I have a Hiatal Hernia....or so the hospital says. What's a Hiatal Hernia? Here let me show you a picture...
So one of these days I'm going to cough and my stomach is just pop out of there and be chillin in my chest...haha just kidding...but it's still kinda of gross.
Anyways, they discovered this today, but I don't think thats the answer to most of the symptoms I've been having. So we'll get an official diagnosis from the doctor hopefully tomorrow and then go from there. The next step is sticking a scope down though my stomach and into my throat...not too excited about that one. But hey, if I can drink two cups of Barium...I can do anything, right?
